Spring Course Option: FSHN101, a PS Gen Ed

There are plenty of spaces available in Food Science & Human Nutrition 101 for the spring semester. The CRN is 32983, and the class meets from 12-12:50 MWF. FSHN 101 discusses the evolution of the food system to meet the needs and desires of a complex, heterogeneous society. It provides an overview of food in relation to nutrition and health, composition and chemistry, microbiology, safety, processing, preservation, laws and regulations, quality, and the consumer.
