Verdell Frazier Young Awards for Women Students

Are you a student who needs money for school, an undergraduate, graduate, or professional female student, in a degree program, enrolled at Illinois (Urbana campus) full or part time, who has had at least one year interruption in your academic journey? You may qualify for a financial award through the Women’s Resources Center of up to $2,000 for the Fall semester, 2011. There must be at least one year interruption in the educational process with priority given to applicants with a two or more year interruption. All continuing students must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75. 
Applications may be picked up & submitted to Women's Resources Center, 703 S. Wright Street, 2nd Floor OR email womenscenter - at - illinois.edu for an electronic application. If you are a first time applicant a brief, in-person interview (20 to 30 minutes) may be required. You will be notified by staff at the center to schedule an interview.
